Ashton Troy x Pocoyo-Themed Birthday Party

Last month, I got the chance to meet Ashton Troy again. I still couldn’t believe time went by in a flash! He was just a tiny 2-month old bundle of joy when I saw him first! He turned 2 last September 18th and I’m very happy to share with all of you some photos I took during his Pocoyo-themed birthday party here in Davao. Troy got a humongous birthday cake! I guess that’s the least you could get when your mom’s a cake artist!

Audwin Liam's Christening

Here are some photos from Audwin Liam’s christening a month ago. This was my second time working for the couple. The first was a similar celebration but for their firstborn’s. The ceremony was held at the St. Paul Parish. Food and drinks followed at the Apo View Hotel.

Yuhico Orchid Garden

Last Thursday, I got the chance to do an engagement session with TJ and Mathet at the Yuhico Orchid Garden. It has been over a year since the last time (also the first time) I set foot on this 6 hectare-farm of native and hybrid orchids. Yuhico does not only house orchids and the like, but also has facilities and amenities for business functions and gatherings.

One of the things I enjoy the most in having this kind of job is getting the opportunity to go to beautiful places I've never been to. This will not be the last time I'll be visiting Yuhico since the wedding in December will be held here.

I hope you enjoy browsing through the photos! Shot them in between takes. I'll be writing a different post on the engagement session soon.

La lumière du soleil

Effortless, clean portraits outside in natural sunlight will always be my favorite. I have been a worshiper of natural light since the day I knew photography.

Lately, I’ve been doing some ESL work online so I’m just elated as a happy bee as I stole a day off from work to have this photoshoot with Jen. With the help of my sister who did her makeup and a few extra hands, I finally got to have some decent photos I can update this blog with. It has been a while since the last time I used my camera (a Canon Digital Rebel XT) in a photoshoot and I’m just so glad it has not given up on me yet! Also, this was Jen’s first photoshoot ever but I'm so pleased with how the photos turned out! Thank you, Jen!
